We can only hope that (like with the closure of Makani) the folks at the top of the Ampyx tree recognise and promote the value of publishing reports of their mission to the community.
Unlikely to happen before AWEC
I think an outcome of bankrupcy if it comes to that could be continued operation with new owners. But if that doesnt happen, sure would be nice if they made a «book» like Makani did

They had an amazing cable test rig built which is one of the largest items wanting a home…

Rope manufacturers have good understanding of bending cycles and wear.
There are many things that affect lifetime of the tether. Which ones are dominating depends on many things.
The point is, running this machine is just the final «Hail Mary!» in my opinion. We probably shouldnt afford to have it, any of us.
