Well, thanks for that extra detail, and I did look through, what is it, 100 papers? I did not find any temperature charts there - maybe you did, or maybe you just thought it would be a great assignment for me to spend the rest of the day trying to find something that may not be there.

You do not explain what you mean by “cherry picking the data”. The chart I provided is obviously a rendition of the Greenland ice core data which, if you watch that video on the ice age, which I provided a link to, is considered by the climatologists, “The Bible” of temp measurements. Look guys, just like you don’t really know much about wind energy, apparently you are also not up to speed on climate history. This stuff I present is 100% mainstream, real information, that “everyone knows”, who actually pays attention to such things.

And now we’re onto calling the people who DO know about the real data “useful idiots”. Sorry, but the term “useful idiots” refers to the indoctrinated masses who don’t know the real facts and simply repeat what the oppressive powers try to promote.

Funny, but just like wind energy crackpots, the actual “useful idiots”, in this case can always be counted on to “change the subject” when confronted with the facts.
Changing the subject to “ongoing extinction event”. The “ongoing extinction event” is actually caused, largely, by deforestation for firewood, which has completely denuded entire countries during modern times.

The solution being implemented by NGO’s? Providing gas cooking stoves, powered by fossil fuels, to all these third-world people, so they can let forests grow instead of cutting down every tree for firewood.
Meanwhile, there is a push to outlaw gas stoves in California for us regular people and even restaurants, as “real world people” try to educate these wannabe do-gooders the well-known fact that gas stoves are by far the best for chefs and efficient production of meals. No chef would be caught dead using an electric stove!
The FACT is, fossil fuels are responsible for the reforestation now taking place worldwide, both by allowing people to cook without cutting down all the trees, and by increasing the previously-almost-disappearing levels of atmospheric CO2 vital for all life on Earth, starting with plants and plankton, all the way up the food chain to mammals like us.
I had a friend who was developing a (failed long ago) electric truck company. It was looking good for a while, cuz he was a good talker, having taken my lead, and also gotten some group to write a grant proposal for him, whereby he attained fund-matching from the California Energy Commission, and then booked sales at half-price to Google and some government customers. His problem was he refused to learn any details of batteries, motors, and power electronics, and could never find the right people who did know about such things to hire, and so was never able to actually deliver a working truck, besides an initial prototype that apparently was not good enough to sell as a real product. Anyway, in one conversation about all this climate stuff, he suddenly said something like “but pollution is bad”, which I certainly agree with, especially in coastal Southern California with our inversion layer, but it is separate from the issue of climate.
California also just passed a new law requiring everyone to separate their trash, to prevent organic matter from going into landfills and producing methane, to "fight global warming - er, um, i mean “climate change”. So we ranch-owners, who handle our own trash, and for decades went to the dump maybe 2-4 times per year to get rid of what we couldn’t handle on-site with composting, etc., are now required to pay to even apply for the “privilege” to “self-haul” our trash, AND show that we drove a truck to the dump at least 12 times per year, rather than 2-4 times a year that is normal.
Not only do we never bring any organic debris to the dump in the first place, but now we have to burn way more gasoline with 8-10 unnecessary 2-hour truck trips per year, to comply with their symbolic nonsensical demand, which does NOTHING to address methane, since we ranch people do not bring our organic debris to the dump anyway, but the new law just forces us to burn more fossil fuels for no reason, and maybe even get killed in a traffic accident! The people enacting this legislation know nothing about country living and just lump us in with all the people living in condos in populated areas with trash collection. Meanwhile, without our new “privilege” to self-haul, we’re forced to pay for trash collection and the trash company is forced to give us 3 trash containers, one for organic stuff like cantaloupe peels and yard trimmings, but when the truck comes to pick it up, they just dump it all into the same truck anyway! You can’t make this stuff up!!!
So meanwhile, I was on the phone with the lady running the solid waste department for the whole county, and mentioned to her the inappropriateness of applying this new rule to large and remote ranch properties, and she started telling me how she had grown up with the smog problem, and how it was better now. Totally changing the subject. Sure, we’re fighting global warming by being forced to drive our trucks hundreds of extra miles per year, for absolutely no reason, and that is “good”. Sure.
These are examples of the true “useful idiots”. Just like the “idiots” of wind energy promoting long-disproven turbine ideas that will never have any true usefulness, these people are “allergic to facts” and respond only to bumper-sticker-level “reasoning”. If it doesn’t fit on a bumper-sticker, it;s too complicated for them to understand!
If you want to talk about “idiots”, look at the thousands of people who were sucked into playing this AWE game.
- They thought they could improve wind energy. So far, they are 100% wrong. That might mean they were “idiots” all along, right?
- Then when they were forced to actually do it, rather than talk about it, the stuff they came up with was not up to par and didn’t work. So that might be another “idiot” indicator, right?
But after all that, they are going to tell you alllllllll about “climate”, even though they had never seen the actual data until now. Why haven’t they seen the data? Because the data doesn’t fit “the narrative”, so they avoid promoting the actual data, the actual facts, that are well-known, that show the glaciers advanced during the recent “little ice age”, that the planet has been slowly cooling for 8000 years, that CO2 levels have been in decline for billions of years and are getting too low for many plant species to survive.
They also never mention something I recently saw, that during the last glacial cycle, the Amazon rain forest was reduced to a fraction of its current size.
On and on it goes, with “useful idiots” repeating whatever bumper-sticker slogans have been implanted into their feeble brains, never understanding anything about climate, any more than they understand how to do wind energy. And we’re talking about thousands of people.
