I’m a mechanical engineer specializing in the development of kite systems for renewable energy applications. My primary focus is to design and manufacture hardware that makes airborne wind energy more viable and efficient.

At OKE.LLC, I’ve developed the Ocean Kite Engine, a high-capacity system that allows greater control over airborne wind energy systems (AWES). It provides distinct and simultaneous control over multiple kite lines and includes anti-tangling rotating winches for continuous kite looping.

The controller’s unique hybrid drivetrain offers a range of gear reductions, allowing it to handle various speed and torque requirements. It’s designed to be lightweight yet powerful, supporting faster, more powerful kites with no additional weight or obstruction from a control pod.
