AI tech predicts time and place of lightning-strikes

As reviewed on the Old Forum, Lightning Rockets and Lasers are now proven able to create metallic or ionized conductive paths, to divert atmospheric charge at will. A metallic tether kite lattice in the sky could continuously bleed excess charge. These methods may figure in the perfection of Aerotecture, and the ultimate conquest of the vast ITCZ equatorial storm belt.

The FAA-required kite-farm Pilot-In-Command (PIC) can also look out the window with a weather eye to intelligently assess lightning risk. An old-fashioned Storm Scope showing strikes in real-time is even better data than the featured AI reasons over.

It will be wonderful tech to bleed off menacing charge to near-zero strike probability, even harvesting the energy that would otherwise strike harmfully.
