This is a standard drumbeat of continued progress in materials. Auula fabric likely is based either on UHMWPE perhaps dyed black, and/or carbon-fiber in some sort of protective sizing like polyurethane. There are a few other possibilities, but these are the main ones.
The Graphene Fiber revolution is happening as a long incremental improvement of properties to slowly become the ultimate material of mainstream engineering projections. Expect up to an order-of-magnitude further progress in engineering fiber/line/fabric/membrane strength in the next 20yrs or so. This won’t just be better fibers, but better fabric and membrane construction.
