Yes, Amazon could deliver Daisies by drone. That would make their drone definitely AWES-related.
Seriously, AWES can be designed to fly themselves to their intended work, either offshore or onshore. Existing airports could be hubs for AWES to deploy and return for maintenance and lifecycle purposes.
This particular drone is most notable for its large payload bay. Expect to see many more drones designed around cargo applications, while in AWES operations a “skyhook” drone could get a pilot-kite started early to altitude, and in turn haul up larger and larger wings (cascaded launch).
