  • Monday 18 March at 15:00h CET: PhD defence Mark Schelbergen at the Aula of TU Delft. Mark’s dissertation " Power to the airborne wind energy performance model: Estimating long-term energy production with an emphasis on pumping flexible kite systems" can be downloaded from here.
  • Tuesday 19 March at 12:45 CET: TU Delft PhD candidate Helena Schmidt will present on “Tipping the Scales: Academics’ Role in Advancing Climate Action” as part of the wind energy section seminar series.
  • Wednesday 20 March at 13:30h CET: TU Delft PhD candidates Jelle Poland and Oriol Cayon will present their research on kite state estimation and deformation in the frame of the Fluid Structure Interaction Seminar of DANSIS at Aalborg University.
  • Saturday 23 March: University of Freiburg postdoctoral researcher Jochem De Schutter will talk at the TEDxFreiburg about “Flying Wind Farms – Soaring to Climate Neutrality Faster”.
