The name of this topic accurately describes the posts of Doug here. Apparently the misinformation takes more forms than what most people, including me, are familiar with, but still the term applies. You could add an “anthropogenic” to the start of it.
Actually, I’ll change the name of the topic to Global Warming Controversy. That fits a little better.

He’s not a climate change denier. Nor even an Antropogenic climate change denier.
