Leverage effect on the tower as for current wind turbines …
At this point, the best would be to put a rotor on this tower as for current wind turbines…
Maybe a rotor is a good option. But still, the AWE tower is easy to launch and land. Im not sure if its such a bad starting point. And almost impossible to hit bystanders
If you attach the guy wires on the top of the tower there is hardly any leverage? Perhaps I just don’t understand what you mean.
Compared to a regular windmill this design has the advantage that you can fit the guy wires without interrupting the place where the rotor would normally go. I think this design is pretty nice TBH
