I don’t think noise is a real problem. At best, the few current AWES fly for a few hours or days in the year, remaining silent the rest of the time.
At least the absence of noise is the positive aspect of AWE.
Well, if you are not making power, the fact that your [presumed] AWE prototype is making a lot of noise would surely make some investors wary. Talk about noise and AWE is mostly detrimental to AWE progress, but in a good way.
There are lots of ways to reduce noise, but it takes a back seat to establishing a reliable, economical energy solution.
