From this article:

At our last count, there are now just 8 identifiable players in the AWE sector, down from 22 in 2017. These include: Amphyx Power, Enerkite, Kitemill, Kitepower, SkySails, TwingTec, Windlift and Windswept, although even some of these are starting to go quiet – we haven’t heard much from Kitemill since its acquisition of KPS.

While players like Kitepower have been taking preorders for its 100 kW Falcon AWE platform for around a year, there are murmurings around a further wave of consolidation in the sector.

It’s too early to say that the writing is on the wall for AWE, but chances for the sector to prove itself are fast disappearing. A final push for survival will likely see more consolidation in the sector – but this may happen quietly, without bringing too much attention to a dwindling number of prospects. We would speculate that this may be why we haven’t heard from e-kite or KiteGen.

Congratulations to @Rodread for being among these last AWE hopes.
