This is false right? you cant stitch together kites forever. you would need air to flow between them. A lot of space for the air to be almost undisturbed.

It would nevertheless be interesting to know the limit dimensions of a single kite, according to the various categories: crosswind, tether-aligned, rotation, flexible, rigid…

With a single kite the spacing problem would not arise. And on this point AWE could have an advantage over conventional wind turbines whose exponential increase in mass (even if it is not really cubic) requires (for economic reasons) the implementation of several smaller units on a farm with the spacing requirements to mitigate the wave effect.
