Just an idea of what a stator ring could look like currently a work in process.
PVC pipe/ hula hoop. With 2layer windings 50mm in length. As mentioned previously fill with magnetic fluid or magnetic ball barrings. Fix to a spinning kite and hey presto. Space windings geometrical. in 6 or 12 groupings. I wound two coils to show. Spacing and to show components potential. Just using what I have around to demonstrate the concept.
